2 weeks and 6 days till valpo!!!!

i feel the need to update. i'm not sure why, but ok.

this weekend has been really great. instead of going to ann's iowa party (which would have been fun as well), i stayed home to hang out with friends from home..which makes sense since i'll be back to valpo in just a couple weeks(!!) anyway i went boating on friday with the youth group. twas fun and relaxing. i didn't tube or ski or anything but that's my perogotive (sp?). then i went and saw the King and I which was good (adamkim is an amazing chinese person)...and then i went to steak n shake (it'd been a while) with jamie and adaki. good times had by all.

yesterday i went boating again (at the same lake) with lori and her dad and my sister and jonah. i water skied for the first time! and i got up on the first try. the third time i got up i skied for about 30-45 secondsish..it was a lot of fun. i'm didn't think i'd actually stand up!!! eek!

downside to boating is that i'm really really sunburnt. i haven't been this sunburnt in a long time. after i got home last night i showered and went to katie's and she and tony and i went to walmart so i could buy more aloe vera (my new best friend) and then back to her house to eat a sandwich and cookie dough!! (no spooning this time :-(...) then andrew and adamkim came and we walked around the lake. more good times:-) it was really great to see them again...and no matter how much i love my new friends at school..there is NOTHING that can replace what i have with my high school friends. i love them so much!!!! ahhhhhhh!!!

anyway, i have to go fix the tv...roy and inie are here and breaking things, apparently. *hugs*
